Most of my Andalusian customs have a musical bent and this little guy is no different. Piano means ‘softly’ and Adagio means ‘at ease’ so this fella is dancing to a soft, slow melody.

Judging by the background and the quality of the photos, this was one of my earlier horses. Someday I will finish digging up all of the old records… someday…

I don’t remember if this was a custom order or just a ‘I need a dark bay for the gallery.’ He’s pretty simple, no really flashy markings—although the brown nose does look a little odd.

There’s plenty of reference photos with brown noses, but all of them have black around the nostrils. I’m assuming I just wasn’t paying as close attention as I should have been when I was painting him.
