Since I’ll be buried up to the gills in NaNoWriMo I’m trying to get all of November’s posts in queue before the month starts. I am planning on writing some posts on the fly, but basing my assumptions off previous NaNo months—there won’t be many.
This means I need to take a slightly more organized look at what I’m writing and what order I want to post things in. *pokes calendar*
So, this is the rundown of what I am planning on writing. There will be some tweaks to the content, but this should be a pretty good battle plan (hopefully).
- Mondays – Custom Model Horse (4)
- Tuesdays – Perish Twice (5)
- Wednesdays – Everyday Dragons (5)
- Thursdays – Martha.net (4)
- Fridays – View from the Molehill (4)
- Saturdays – Saturday Story Prompts (4)
- Sundays are a day off, unless something comes up that can’t wait. (This rarely is the case)
Mondays – Custom Model Horse
These posts are a quick check-off since most of them are already pre-written (I have 38 models left to photograph and upload). I’m planning on backfilling the other posts so that I run out of old horses by year’s end—next year is all about the new sales herds!
- Finnegan’s Wake (Fantasy, SM G2 Shire)
- Scatcat (Realistic, SM G2 Arabian)
- Red Baron (Fantasy, SM G2 Paso Fino)
- Stone Sister (Realistic, Unknown Mold)
Tuesdays – Perish Twice
These posts get a little messy. Since I’m not going to have as much free time in November, I’m not sure how much my playtime (and post-writing time) will suffer. Right now I’m planning on a few leveling posts, at least one Blog Azeroth shared topic, and a breakdown of /castsequence.
I’ve been planning on swapping to an every other week schedule for the leveling posts anyways, so this is a good time to get that pattern in place. *pokes calendar*
- Leveling Post
- How to Use /castsequence
- Leveling Post
- Blog Azeroth Shared Topic
- Leveling Post
Wednesdays – Everyday Dragons
This is the fun one! Since November 2nd is the sixty day mark from when my home business kicks off, there’s lots to be done and thus lots to post about. This is probably the easiest section to plan out, but will be a pain in the butt to research and write.
- Starting a Business in Newport News, Virginia
- Opening an Etsy Shop
- E-Books, Self-Publishing, and Long Tail Plans
- Open Market, Auto Market
- Overhead and Sunk Costs
Thursdays – Martha.net
I have a few things planned for November, but depending on how the site redesign goes this may change to all WordPress/PHP related topics. Right now I’m focusing on broader (and less timely) issues and some LinkLove.
- Fonts and Online Noveling
- Behind Door Number Three (or: Restricting Content Access)
- Vujà Dé (or: Making Old Content New Again)
- LinkLove : Model Horse Blab
- LinkLove : The Khan Academy
Fridays – View from the Molehill
Molehill is a very random topic blog, so these may change completely by the time November rolls around. But these are all things in queue that I’ve been meaning to write… now it’s time to sit down and get them done!
- 120 Hours of Doing Nothing
- Treadmill Learning Curves and Tweaks
- FlyLady: Redux
- Hoarding vs. Crafting
- Kitchen Spring Cleaning : Fruits
Saturdays – Saturday Story Prompts
Like the horse posts, these are also pre-written and already waiting in queue. There’s something slightly terrifying about the fact that I have enough random bits to fill out the year… hopefully November will bring down their wild tangent tendencies for a bit.
