This little guy was my first foray into the realms of painting the non-horse Breyer sculptures. Although he’s still the only Companion Animal that I’ve finished, I’ve been itching to add more dogs to the lineup!

I bought the corgi to be repainted, but Sparky sat in my body box for a long time waiting on just the right color. I finally went with a realistic white and tan pattern– only in a bright firehouse red. Because reasons. Awesome corgi reasons. *solemn nod*

While I still think he looks cute, I wish I’d put some shadings in the coat so he doesn’t look as flat…
