This little guy’s name came from the fact that he started out life as a deep purple tobiano– you could still see a little bit of the tint left, once I went back in and modified the color, but only if you were looking for it.

As is the case with most of my older customs, the photos don’t do him justice at all. Which is probably why he didn’t sell as a fantasy horse. The dark purple didn’t pick up the camera as well as the bay did, but even the bay took a while to sell, as I remember.

At some point I’ll have to hop on Blab and MH$P and see if I can’t borrow the old customs long enough to take better photos of them. It would be worth the $12 in S&H just to make the gallery match my memories.

Assuming any of these little guys still survive… *sigh*
