Scatcat (Custom Breyer Stablemate Arabian)

He’s actually not a bad little horse, there’s decent shading in the bay and the markings are nice and crisp, even if they’re not as true-to-life as I’d have liked. I’m thinking he’s one of the later horses, but I can’t tell from the backdrop. Ah well, maybe the rest of the notes from the business will turn up in the next set of boxes. *crosses fingers*

I’ve still got a bit of a learning curve to master on the blue eyes, but they don’t look horribly out of place, which is a nice change. I’ll need to do a post on eye painting and all the nifty tutorials I’ve found since then… maybe that’ll be a good filler post for November. (I need something for y’all to read whilst I’m buried in NaNoWriMo! ^_~)
