I distinctly remember painting this little gal because I didn’t have any orange horses yet. Orange was one of my least favorite colors, but as you can tell it’s grown on me a bit over the years.

Most of her photos were taken outside, perched veeery carefully on the railing of my apartment complex patio. While the lighting was great I was having very small panic attacks over the fact that she could go tumbling to her doom. (Which is why the rest of the horses have safer, but less well lit, photographs.)

I was based her coloration on a line-back dun, so there are faint leg barrings done in Prismacolor pencil, but they refused to show up in the photos (or the scans).

Not a bad little horse, even if she wasn’t one of my favorites. As I remember she was snapped up off of eBay pretty quickly, so thankfully not everyone shares my color bias! 😉
