I’m sure there’s a perfectly good reason why I took sales photos of this guy without having his eyes finished… but darned if I can think of what is was. *pokes horse*
This little guy was one of my few resculpts that didn’t have the Saddlebred mold as a base. I think the face came out well, but the feathering needs some work.
I’m not sure if you can tell, but I also added a bit to his tail to correct for a manufacturing flaw. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get him to stand on his own, even with the tail, which is why he’s on the base.
He is, of course, named after one of the Heralds of Valdemar books by Mercedes Lackey, as is his brother-in-mold Storm Rising.
(We’ll ignore the fact that Companions are white with blue eyes and that he’d make a lousy Shin’a’in castoff even if you overlook his color.)
