Zoom! Swish! Kapow! … Well, okay, maybe not Kapow.

But don’t blink because this little gal is moving at the speed of lightning, and she blends into the sky like no earthly equine could dream of. Watch her fly and pity the Pegasus for needing wings.

This little gal was part of a rainbow herd that I painted in order to round out my thoroughbred gallery. (Dreamsicle Flash is another one of those alumni.)

Nothing really special about her paint job, but as always there are a few things I’d tweak if I could do it again. The frame overo pattern is a bit fluffy, but it was meant to resemble clouds so I suppose that’s not a bad thing. I think I would have liked a deeper blue though.

Hmm… *pokes color combinations*

Update: This little gal is now known as DDS Sonrise and is owned by Day Dream Stables (or at least was owned by them back in 2008). Looks like she’s had a pretty good show career as well! 😀
