Following my inherent desire to name everything green after Ireland, I went with the obvious this time around. There’s a foal named Irish Latte to match… and I have the sudden desire to keep the coffee theme going… *eyes her body box*
A nice simple pattern that I have a faint memory of being painted from actual reference photos, which is probably why it’s more accurate than most of my early tobianos.
(I feel the need to point out that he’s technically a green chestnut and not a green bay, but I don’t suppose anyone would notice the difference.)
This little guy was one of my earlier customs, as you can tell from the photos, and was actually part of my photo show string for a bit. I ended up selling him off with the rest of my show string when I started the business up. I still regret selling some of them, although I know I can probably paint better versions of them now.
