Every so often my Muses grab a’hold of a model and run with it. The result is normally a bit of random-shiny that I couldn’t have planned out if I tried.

This little guy was such an event– I started with the black basecoat and no real plan other than getting him finished off whilst watching TV. (Hence the ‘Whimsy’)

I took his photo against the dressage base instead of the plain base just for the amusement value. Somewhere I’m sure there’s a parody dressage test that has ‘Rear at E. Buck twice and continue crow-hopping to X.’

Anwyho, he was snapped up off of eBay the first time out and I ended up painting an Add-a-Foal in a matching pattern (the apt named Firefoal).

A cute pattern, but a very time consuming one… I don’t think I’ll be painting it again.
