His name is German for ‘December Stone’ because I was completely out of ideas on what to call a turquoise horse. Babelfish is a very addicting crutch… you can make just about anything sound nifty by turning it into German (or Portuguese!)

This little guy resulted from me closing my eyes and grabbing a base color from the paint drawer. Probably not the most creative way to plan out a cost pattern, but he was painted towards the end of my run as a business and I was getting a little burnt out for ideas. And names.

Still, I think he came out well overall, even if his appy pattern is on the far end of the ‘artistic license’ spectrum. The silver ‘white’ pattern was done with a stencil brush and the base coat had no shading to it (as I remember). In hindsight I think I should have done with a shaded basecoat, just to give the mane a bit of a pop compared to his forehead. Dezember Stein Dezember Stein Dezember Stein
