I am pretty sure this guy couldn’t exist in nature, but I wanted to see if I could fit every non-appaloosa white pattern onto one horse. I was tempted to list him in the fantasy section, but he’s theoretically possible– unlike a green appaloosa.

It was a lot of fun to paint him, although I sort of wish I’d used picture references so I could prove he was realistic (and thus showable). As it is, he makes a pretty darned good shelf piece.

The sabino roaning was my first attempt at such outside of the fantasy horses and I think it came out okay. I really need to sit down and try again, this time with some solid photo references. The nice thing about Stablemate scale is that they are the perfect size for patterns that would take days to finish in Traditional scale.
