This little guy was the eventual evolution of the splatterpaint technique I hashed out for the faux-decorator style of Florentine Flip. I did use the…
Motivate your Muses with writing prompts of tenuous wails, consuming lights, mundane divinity, eternal bargains, and maddening whispers!
Mold: Paso Fino (G2)
Color: Chestnut Tobiano
Status: Painted 2004 and Sold November 2004
This little gal’s name translates into ‘Wind of Summer’ from my rather mangled Portuguese. Nothing like ambushing an unsuspecting language and riffling through it’s pockets for names via Bablefish! (more…)
In previous posts, I’ve covered the general idea of the ‘tickets to read‘ and in this post I’ll be going over the general foundation that I’m building my price points on. Nothing like a little math to spice up a rainy week!
Normally I would use materials cost plus man-hours in order to calculate a price, but in this case the market has already set expectations on how much writing is worth.

Scale: Mini Whinnies
Mold: Big Lick Tennessee Walking Horse Stallion
Color: Metallic Green Minimal Tobiano
Status: Painted 200? and Sold 200?

Although I don’t have the newest version of the theme, hopefully this will help others who are trying to tweak mystique_logo() — which contains the blog title or the selected title image.
So let’s pop open Appearance -> Editor and read on… (more…)
Still trying to find the hidden egg for the Great Blog Noblegarden Egg Hunt? The egg that looks nothing like the eggs on this post?…
Mold: Morgan (G2)
Color: Sabino Tovero (Tobiano + Overo)
Status: Painted 200? and Sold
I am pretty sure this guy couldn’t exist in nature, but I wanted to see if I could fit every non-appaloosa white pattern onto one horse. I was tempted to list him in the fantasy section, but he’s theoretically possible– unlike a green appaloosa. (more…)
