Sudden Flurries (Custom Breyer Stablemate Thoroughbred)

This little gal was a blast to paint and I loved the way she turned out! Unfortunately the paint-job didn’t past muster for the person who bought her (One of the few times a buyer thought less of a horse than I did).

I did offer to buy her back, but I think they ended up reselling her or using her as a photo shower. I didn’t see her pop back up on MH$P or on eBay, but I’m hoping she went to a home that appreciated her.

Personally, if I was looking to buy a Live Show Quality horse I’d be asking a lot more questions of the customizer to make sure my purchase matched my expectations. I have always offered to take more photos or scans at any resolution for bidders.

Then again, I think she sold for a whopping $25… when most LSQ models start at $50 (and go up to $5,000).

To each their own… but this was the last eBay listing where I didn’t include the disclaimer ‘LSQ not guaranteed, use your own judgment.’
