This little gal was a pain to photograph. Even with the new camera you can’t really make out the fine white speckling and traceries that made her shine in person.

Because of that she took the longest to sell on eBay and I’m a little surprised she ended up selling at all. I figured I was going to have to take her to a show and sell her from a table so that folks could make an in-person assessment.

But on a good note, that meant I got to get better pictures of her before she was sold. Since she is one of only two yellow horses I’ve painted so far (the other being Sudden Digression) it means a lot to me that I have good archival photos for her. Sol Dorato Sol Dorato Sol Dorato Sol Dorato
