Avast! This little gal is out to take over the field and teach those colts to walk the plank!

This little gal was the first of this mold that I started fiddling around with bases for. The mold is very unstable and tend to fall over if you look at them sideways, so I had been looking for ways to make them a little less domino prone.

The base worked out pretty well, although the positioning of the hind leg isn’t quite right for the pose (there should be more weight on it). It also isn’t very interesting visually — later bases were also covered with train grass, although I had some problems with staining, so I ended up packaging the bases in ziplock bags when mailing the sets.
