If I hadn’t been working with pastels already, I would have taken them up just for this little guy. Pastels made an enormous difference in my ability to capture the soft shadings of the coat coloration. Still not perfect, but much better than my attempts at a similar coat pattern on Dapper Dan.

When I find the larger scale photos, I’ll upload them– the details just aren’t coming through in the size I have now. (arg)

In real life he is a miniature horse stallion named Heritage Warbucks Impressum and he was owned by Appy Hollow Farm, but has since apparently moved to A Model Miniature Horses
