This little guy was one of my old photo show string that I ended up selling when I started to move away from the hobby. I know he wasn’t first painted in 2005, but I did some touch-ups before selling him so I’m going to list him there anyways.

When it came time to update the paint job, I added some depth using acrylics and pastels as well as updating the details (eyes, hooves, etc.). While he stayed a plain chestnut, the extra pop was enough to send him cantering off to a new home when he went back up for auction.

That’s the nice thing about customs, you can always go back and improve on them… assuming they’re still on the shelf!
