1. The full moon is reflected in the very center of the circular pool, its perfection marred only by the slow drip of blood from the dying dragon.

2. It’s sunny and raining in the aftermath of the storm, a chaotic patchwork of clouds somehow more frustrating than the hurricane.

3. ‘Help is on the way’ means recovery not rescue, the only way to drive back the bugs is to turn the valley to ash.

4. Vampires are more inhuman than you’d expect, anorexic creatures of skin and bone that move with a speed and grace beyond what nature should allow.

5. Every leaf that falls is another step closer to the war– not even the heretical West would be bold enough to violate the divine mandate of the winter marches.
