This little guy is named in German (because Bablefish is my friend) and in theory translates into ‘Night Mouse.’ I had a bad habit of misspelling it as Natchmaus, so who the heck knows what he’s called at this point. Most likely his new owner renamed him something less whimsical anyway. (Woe)
When I was bored I would play ‘fill in the colors’ with the molds– as I got further along in my custom painting business I started noticing the ‘missing’ colors more. Gotta love by-color and by-mold galleries to remind you of what you’ve overlooked!
Anywho, this was my entry for the dark-bay/black entry for the pony mold and it was a fun exercise to paint something simple and realistic after all the fantasy models. As I remember I did this one, Gumi Bear and a chestnut all at the same time… I think.
I need to take better notes!
