This little gal is a shaded turquoise, with a very minimal sabino pattern. I do like the old molds, but the ears are a pain an a half to carve out if you don’t have any epoxy to tweak them with.
This was one of the more recent horses, so the cameras caught errors that I couldn’t see when I was painting them. I’m itching to go back and correct the flaws now… arg.
Not sure why I left the braid a solid yellow instead of adding a contrasting color, but that may have been what the buyer requested. I was letting them pick the ribbon color on the saddlebred molds, since the allowed colors for the real horses are much more limited than I had realized.
Still, it’s a turquoise horse, I doubt anyone cared if the ribbons were within regulations…
