Named in the musical theme of my Andalusian customs, Piano means ‘softly’ and Morendo means ‘gradually dying away.’ Which seemed to fit the soft and slow beats of the Piaffe that the mold is performing. (more…)

Color: Black and Tan Doberman
Gallery: Darwin
Medium: Acrylics
Status: Painted 200? and Sold 200?

This little gal is the first time I attempted a non-horse pattern that was based on another animal, as I remember. She came from staring at the mold trying to pick a color to paint her… and realizing she looked a lot like my roommate’s dog. (more…)

Color: Glossy Silver Splash Overo Red Bay
Gallery: Fantasy Overo
Medium: Acrylics
Painted/Sold: Painted August 2005 and Donated

This little guy was part of a herd I painted as a donation to the 2005 Hampton Roads Classic raffle. They might not have been the most impressive of the group, but a group of inch high horses painted in bright glossy colors are great for catching people’s attention. Plus it was fun writing the advertising copy! *grin*
