Leanaí Dóiteáin means Fire Child in Gaelic, if Google Translate is to be believed and she was one of my later custom orders (as you can tell by the photos).

The mane and tail are some of the best I’ve done, but I do wish I’d brought the tail in a bit. It looks like it’s blowing in the wind—but that much tail would take and awfully breezy day… *sighs*

I’m looking forward to getting to test out some new sculpting techniques I’ve found online. The explosion of tutorials and how-to videos is pretty darned amazing. It’s great to see how much the hobby has grown while I’ve been gone!
