Fire Eater (Breyer Stablemate)

Posted on December 25, 2010January 22, 2019 by Martha Bechtel
Fire Eater

I know that this little gal was a custom order and that she was one of my later customs, but that’s all I have on her right now. I’m pretty sure she was sold as a pair with Scoville’s Ghost, but I’m not sure to whom or when.

While I do like the bay coloring, I wish I’d pulled better references for the tobiano pattern. I was relying too heavily on my imagination when I did this the first time and the realism suffers. She does look nice, I just wish she looked real. *pokes horse*

Make: Breyer Stablemate Saddlebred (G2)
Color: Bay Tobiano
Medium: Acrylics and Pastels
Status: Painted 200? and Sold 200?
