I know ‘fire’ isn’t really a color, but it sounds better than Yellow and orange!
This is one of the older models, as you can tell my my unimpressive blending job and the fact I did scans as well as photos (the old camera wasn’t good a micro photos). It’s a little sad that so many of the first model horses that I painted have such a bad visual record left behind. I’m almost tempted to post on the model horse forums and see if any of them are still out there. *wistful sigh*
The fun part of getting to repost everything is that I can look at these older models and pick out the things I would do to improve them. If I were to paint this little guy again I’d fix the blending, but I think I’d also add some red elements in for contrast. It’s not a bad color pattern, but I think this was the only time I used it.
I do remember the yellow was a pain to blend…
