Everything you write is starts out as crap.. and sometimes, it gets better. But first you have to get the words on the page, even if they don’t look the way you’d like them to. This is something I have to relearn at the start of every NaNo, and apparently at the start of Novel_in_90. This isn’t a hundred word drabble to be polished to a shine… this is getting down in the mud and the muck of story-dom and trying to find the pony.
So instead of sitting here mucking about with the snippits I had written earlier and trying to fit them into a coherent first post, I’m going to start with the two paragraph into and then run free from there. I will get the words on the page and worry later about whether they were the words I needed.
See y’all in an hour!
