So, apparently I am working on an extended version of Cuckoo’s Nest, which is all sort of fun (and all krysalys‘s fault, ^_~). There’s nothing quite like diving waist deep into Horror and then keep heading into deeper water. *evil grin* I’m digging for all the things that make people squirm and hopefully will be able to coble together something suitable nightmare inducing.

And I’m getting closer to having the fantasy flashfic piece ‘Promise Me’ final, final drafted. *grin* Which means one things that I can surf the publication seas, and that’s a start if nothing else. It’s gotten some good feedback on OWW as well as a ‘submit this to me’ request, but that was almost a year ago… ^_^;;

I think I’m giving up on the scifi flashfic ‘It Wasn’t Enough,’ just because of the general feedback. It’s too bland a story to catch anyone’s attention I think, but I’ll put it in the ‘rewrite later’ folder just in case.

After ‘Promise Me’ I have a few things I could work on, some original stuff and some fanfic that I’m stealing the core from. I was tempted to use ‘Cuckoo’s Nest’, but I’m still waffling on that one. ‘Too Old For Neverland’ is a favorite, but I’m unsure of the copyright issues. I think I may be okay though… *ponders* Wendy and her unLost kids are just such a fun Buffy/Blade/etc-themed romp. ^_^

Anywho, if anyone would like to play beta reader to shorts under 500 words in a variety of genres, leave me a comment and I’ll send you some light reading. ^_~ *grin*
