*strangles her Muse*

See, I knew there was a reason I was trying not to think of The Book That is not Rise and Walk as House of Fire, because, you see, if I say this book is about the House of Fire then of course my Muse pops up with the fact that the House of Storms would also be an excellent playground. Because it’s full of lawyers and who doesn’t like a nice legal battle? Or that silly little House of Tears which lost control of it’s elemental and now offers only minor healing in tiny clinics instead of in the massive hospitals it used to run. And you don’t even think about writing for the House of Names and all those nifty spies and assassins that were ruthlessly wiped out in the midst of the Slow Death (plague).

Arrrrrg! *headdesk*

Did I mention The Book That is not Rise and Walk started as a short story? This world is insane. >.<;; ... But dude, who can resist finding a good plot for evil lawyers? ^_^;;

      See, the bad thing is it lends itself to these enormous titles…

      New! From The Council of Tides series it’s The House of Storms : Justice Wheel!, which follows The House of Fire : Resurrection and The House of Tears : Unquiet Death

      Which leads to the assumption that one could write multiple books/shorts under each of The House of sub-titles, leading to and insane amount of writing all tied back in to the main series… and that’s where my Muse gets a little punch-drunk with the happy. >.< ;; *headdesk*

      Let it not be said that my Muses play in small sandboxes…
