*blink* EE didn’t smite me!

Okay, sort of in shock here. The only things he nitpicked were items I had to leave out of the query for length… and that it was too long (of course). I’ll have to see if the commenters can snark anything more for me… *watches the thread*

Wow. *shakes head* What a nice way to end this weekend! ^_^

Rise and Walk’s query letter roast on Evil Editor : Face Lift 120

And is being compared to the setup of Dune a good thing or a bad thing? o_O;

    Okay, wow. Evil Editor seems pretty cool. As does the basic plot of the story.

    If I saw the blurb for that novel (as written in the EE rewrite), I might actually be interested in picking it up and flipping through it to get more information.

      I’m bad, I pick up books based on the covers 90% of the time. ^_^;;

      I’m glad he liked the blurb, but I’m still worried I didn’t get any of the ‘good bits’ of the plot in to the short version. I’m getting to the point where I’m tempting to foist it off on someone else and say ‘here, tell me what this is about!’

      Althought I’m thinking everyone would just come back and say ‘Two guys and a dead lizard’. ^_^;; *headdesk*

    Woo Haa! Being compared to Dune is a very good thing. Congrats. I made it back in three hours safely despite two(count them Two)fender benders on 64 that slowed traffic down to a stop. I am looking forward to coming down again in September. Please promise to leave me some more projects? Your restaurants rock, your bed is comfy and it was fantabulous seeing you. I Shall Return! Much love, Me

      Ah yes, but I didn’t like Dune much. ^_~ *grin*

      Glad to hear you made it home safely! And without it taking all day!! Sheesh, gotta love traffic around here. 😛 *sighs* I promise I’ll leave you plenty of projects to play with for next time. *crosses heart* I’ve got oodles and oodles of stuff left to do! ^_^
