Melody took to calling them the Super Friends, or the Avengers in her darker moods. She hummed theme songs at their unofficial gatherings and Danny once caught her sketching their spandex-clad alter egos. It wasn’t until she started outlining business cards and super-stationary that Carol finally clamped down.

Staying unofficial meant safe flying and they simply weren’t up to playing superhero for real. Danny and Carol had several decades of hiding under their belts and Jhin had been taught from birth how to blend into the human sea.
