Yes, the silliness is now incarnate! Tonight will be the proud unveiling of the first two Shiny Happy Sparkle Ponies ™!

Each of these 80’s throwbacks are complete with collectable card (business card) and a short sappy storybook that teaches a Moral Lesson. Now all I need is the Shiny Happy Sparkle Ponies ™ Dream Palace Play Set ™ and I’ll be good to go! A website is also being built in their honor… (run for your lives!)

All profits Shiny Happy Sparkle Ponies ™ will be donated to an animal charity, and I’m taking suggestions as to which charity! While I’m leaning towards horse-friendly programs, they don’t have to be horse-only!

This weekends ponies (photos tonight!) are:

Sonic Blueberry : metallic blue & purple
Gooseberry Flip : metallic purple & silver

EDIT : I didn’t get the books finished since I got to go to an Army Hail and Fairwell dinner tonight, and I needed some Puzzle Pirates time to recover my sanity!

I shall try and get them done for tommorow… and I’ll make a batch to bring up to CRAB as well! (And HRC ‘o course! ) Fear the 80’s flashbacks!

Sadly, there are no noodly appendages as of yet, but if I can find a way to work it in I will!

I am having waaaaaay too much fun with these guys! Cross MLP with Care Bears and He-Man, with a little GI Joe morality lessons thrown in for fun. I think I’ve liked making the little cartoon books as much as the horses. I’m silly.

They even have a themesong! Michelle has heard the first bits… but I worked it into a whole into-schpeil. Now I just need to find recording equipment and the website can have annoying background music!
